Four gold plaques found in 1898 in barrow No. 2 near Pastyrskie, Cherkasy district, Ukraine. Plaques form squares with 3.8 cm sides. Holes punched in plaques for sewing to clothing or headgear. Ornaments date to 4th century BCE. Scythian gold plaque from Kuban region dated 4th-3rd century BCE for comparison. Kuban plaque measures 2.8 cm high with eagle shape.
