Polak's theory a breakthrough in physics. And the word "breakthrough" here is confirmed by every physicist I have spoken to so far before the broadcast of this interview. Ladies and Gentlemen, in the privacy of one of the most heavily guarded laboratories in the world the Los Alamos National Laboratory in the USA which we visited, a Polish scientist Prof. Wojciech Zurek and his team of scientists built an experimentally confirmed theorem that is fundamental to the entire theory of quantum mechanics. The cloning ban theorem which shows that the unknown quantum state cannot be replicated in any way. The consequences of this theorem are the foundations of modern quantum cryptography based on secure transmission of information encoded in the quantum state. The theory co-authored by Polak is now the basis of quantum cryptography and quantum information transfer. In the state described by Mr. Professor, an attempt to eavesdrop on a channel ends with the immediate notification of those communicating through the channel. The theorem formulated and proven by William Wootters, Wojciech Zurek and Dennis Dieks is fundamental to the theory of all quantum mechanics.
