Is it possible to determine the degree of tissue oxygenation in a non-invasive PET scan and check whether the cancer is malignant or benign - without performing a traditional biopsy? Prof. Pawel Moskal of the Jagiellonian University has an idea how to achieve this. He has received a prestigious European Research Council (ERC) grant for his research.
