IFJ PAN: Superconductivity at room temperature? Thanks to densely distributed hydrogen atoms

An international team of scientists has discovered that hydrogen atoms in metal hydrides are much more densely packed than thought. This property could lead to the appearance of superconductivity at temperatures and pressures close to room conditions, the physicists from Krakow report.
