Microscopic polymer lenses with dimensions many times smaller than the diameter of a human hair and allowing optical examination of nano-objects without the use of a microscope have been developed by researchers from the University of Warsaw, among others. The lenses were manufactured using ultra-precise 3D laser printing technology.
