A completely symmetric Universe would not be such an interesting place - all matter would simply annihilate with antimatter. That's why scientists are looking for signs of asymmetry between particles and antiparticles. There are many indications that such asymmetry can be seen in the frenzy of neutrinos and antineutrinos.
