Shrinking nanomembranes discovered by UAM researchers
Go to the source page

Nanomembranes made of polydopamine, a polymer modeled on a substance produced by mussels, shrink when exposed to light, temperature and humidity changes, researchers from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan and the Max Planck Institute in Mainz have discovered. The properties will be usable in, among other things, automation and robotics, e.g. for remote control of nanomanipulators.
