NCBJ: even more efficient iodine production at MARIA reactor

The National Center for Nuclear Research has for many years been a leading producer of radioactive iodine, used in therapy and medical diagnostics. The latest irradiation method will increase the activity of the resulting material, reduce the amount of heat released during production and reduce the amount of radioactive waste.
