Tools for studying heavy-ion collisions occurring at maximum energies in the LHC gas pedal have been improved by theorists at the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow. It turned out that none of the models used to describe these phenomena reproduces the behavior of the sigma variable.
