A way to insulate coatings for windows - stopping infrared radiation - has been developed by physicists from the Polish Academy of Sciences. Their idea makes it possible to reduce the scale of heat escape through windows in winter. Savings on heating can be up to a dozen percent, the solution's creators estimate.
