Towards cheaper fuel cells - new ethanol catalyst

An inexpensive and efficient ethanol catalyst made of laser-fused nanoparticles could replace the platinum catalysts currently used in fuel cells. The material was produced at the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Krakow.
