Researchers have used nanoparticles in chemical reactions for a very long time. But it was only by isolating and synthesizing them that new properties were discovered. It also turned out that under the influence of a change in the size of the molecule, their color changes, Dr. Maria Górna, a molecular biologist at the UW, told PAP.
