There are situations in which the human eye picks up infrared radiation that is usually imperceptible. Scientists at Warsaw's ICTER have developed a method for assessing the brightness obtained in this so-called two-photon vision. This, they believe, opens up new perspectives for ophthalmic diagnostics and virtual reality techniques.
