From fullerenes to 2D structures: a recipe for designing boron nanostructures
Go to the source page

A UW physicist has developed a model to explain the diversity of boron nanostructures, from hollow molecular clusters to ultra-thin 2D layers. The discovery makes it possible not only to understand existing boron nanostructures, but also to predict and design new materials with desired properties.
