Prof. Freeman Dyson: Man has little influence on the climate. Computer models are good at helping us understand the climate, but very poor at predicting it

Is carbon dioxide making the world greener? (With Freeman Dyson, Institute for Advanced Study) Computer models are good at helping us understand the climate, but very poor at predicting it. That's according to physicist Freeman Dyson of the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. Dyson states: "From space, the whole Earth becomes greener due to carbon dioxide, which translates into increased agricultural yields, increased forests and increased biodiversity, and this is more important and more certain than the effect on climate." He admits that human activity has an impact on the climate, but says it is much smaller than is claimed. He stresses that the non-climate benefits of carbon are extremely beneficial.
