Nike ad scandal: mistake in translating words of samuro tribe from Kenya

In 1989, the Samuro tribe from Kenya took part in a Nike commercial in which they wore the brand's shoes. However, it turned out that the translation of their words was wrong, as an anthropology professor discovered. Nike had to apologize for the deliberate misrepresentation.
