A 20-year-old woman from Hamburg, Germany, has been sentenced to prison for making "hateful" comments against an immigrant involved in the gang rape of a child. The woman is one of 140 people under investigation for making "harmful comments" against rapists. The horrific attack occurred in 2020. Multiple groups of migrant men independently attacked a 14-year-old girl in Hamburg's Stadtpark overnight. The park had become a popular gathering place for young people during the COVID-19-related lockdowns, and the girl had been drinking there with friends. However, they dispersed when police searched the park and separated the groups, while enforcing rules of social distance.
