Emo, Ontario, has been fined for refusing to celebrate Pride Month. A decision by the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal found that refusing to proclaim June as Pride Month and not flying the LGBT flag constituted discrimination. Mayor Emo was charged with discrimination against the LGBTQ2 community.
