The article addresses the issue of the political and worldview neutrality of universities and the changes that have taken place in higher education. The author notes the increasing politicization of academia and the introduction of empirically unproven theories. In addition, he analyzes the consequences of merging universities with business and the drain of outstanding individuals from the field of research in favor of market competition.
