Scientists have discovered new, albeit preliminary, evidence of life on a distant planet orbiting another star. Studies of the atmosphere of the planet K2-18b have revealed the presence of molecules that on Earth are produced only by simple organisms. However, these results need to be confirmed by collecting more data.
