Analysis of genetic data from 255 individuals from different regions of the world showed that negroids, due to recent gene crossing with an archaic hominid, have greater genetic diversity than Europeans and Asians - that is, genetically they are the most distant from the rest of humanity, their genes having evolved separately from the rest the longest. The results confirm the African origin of modern human populations.
