The foundations of a 3,300-year-old pyramid with a burial chamber in Abydos, Egypt, have been discovered in contemporary Egypt, inhabited by people with negroid genetic admixture. The chamber contained a beautifully crafted sarcophagus with inscriptions of Egyptian gods and hieroglyphics and more than ten human remains.
