The Netherlands, too, has a long history of suppressing the number of crimes committed by immigrants. One example is a well-known 2010 study based on police documents, which claimed that immigrant groups such as Turks, Moroccans, Antilles and Surinamese have an average crime rate 2 to 2.5 times that of white native Dutch. For anyone with a pair of eyes and living in a major city, this figure is significantly underestimated. One obvious weakness of the study was that it didn't take into account the type of crime committed or repeat offenders (there's a big difference between tax evasion and gang rape on the streets). So let's take a look at other figures, where available or can be inferred.
